Global Connections, Inc. acquired Sea Shells Beach Club, turning a failing hotel into a condo resort property. Located in the heart of Daytona Beach, Florida, Sea Shells Beach Club continues to welcome guests from the Global Discovery Vacations travel club and the general public.
The Sunset Paradise in Oahu, Hawaii was taken over by Global Connections, Inc. in 2004, converting the hotel into 10 condominiums. In 2006, Global Connections acquired property in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to develop White Oak Lodge & Resort. Global built the log home resort featuring a state-of-the-art swimming pool with waterfalls, along with many other exciting features and amenities in each log home.
In 2008, Global Connections, Inc. renovated the Beso Del Sol Resort in Dunedin, Florida. Global Connections, Inc. also purchased the 229-unit Royal Celebration Inn located in Orlando, Florida in 2006. Global Connections cleaned up the property and re-staffed, directly improving customer satisfaction surveys. Global Connections is currently in the process of converting the property into an assisted living community.
