Global Connections, Inc. Expands its Network
As a leading travel club provider, Global Connections, Inc.® continues to add new members to its travel club, Global Discovery Vacations. The company recently moved into new corporate headquarters, doubling the size of its previous location to accommodate its growing business.
The new corporate headquarters of Global Connections, Inc. is a 25,000 sq. ft two-story building housing nearly 100 employees. The departments in the new building at 5360 College Blvd. in Overland Park, Kansas, include accounting, administration, collections, buying services, condominium inventory management, contract administration, creative design, travel, human resources, information technologies, member services, software engineering and the sports division. Additional offices housing about 75 member services and property management professionals are located in Daytona Beach, Clearwater and Orlando, Florida, and in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Global Connections, Inc. Develops Resorts
Global Connections, Inc. has been developing resorts since 2004. The extensive knowledge of Global for refurbishing, reconfiguring, and building vacation accommodations enables the members of Global Discovery Vacations to choose excellent locations. Global Connections, Inc. acquired Sea Shells Beach Club, turning a failing hotel into a condo resort property. Located in the heart of Daytona Beach, Florida, Sea Shells Beach Club continues to welcome guests from the Global Discovery Vacations travel club and the general public.
The Sunset Paradise in Oahu, Hawaii was taken over by Global Connections, Inc. in 2004, converting the hotel into 10 condominiums. In 2006, Global Connections acquired property in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to develop White Oak Lodge & Resort. Global built the log home resort featuring a state-of-the-art swimming pool with waterfalls, along with many other exciting features and amenities in each log home.
In 2008, Global Connections, Inc. renovated the Beso Del Sol Resort in Dunedin, Florida. Global Connections, Inc. also purchased the 229-unit Royal Celebration Inn located in Orlando, Florida in 2006. Global Connections cleaned up the property and re-staffed, directly improving customer satisfaction surveys. Global Connections is currently in the process of converting the property into an assisted living community.
